The “Error: Meeting URL is not valid.” error message is not translated into the selected language in Lync Server 2010

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You access an invalid conference URL in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment. Then, you receive the following error message:
    Error: Meeting URL is not valid.
  • You select another language from the Language list.
In this scenario, you expect the error message to be translated into the selected language. However, the error message is still displayed in English.

Cause

This issue occurs because Lync Server 2010 does not change the language of the strings in the default Web page resource file.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
